Supporting the first-ever Mazda CX-50 are two powerful engines. Just like the Mazda3, a Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine and a turbocharged version are available. 

The former offers 187 horsepower, 186 lb-ft of torque and a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. Stepping it up is the turbocharged engine with 227 horsepower, an impressive 310 lb-ft of torque, and an increased towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
