  Up to date Driver's License

A non-expired, up-to-date driver's license is necessary when you purchase your new vehicle. Your driver's license must be issued in the same state that you're registering your new vehicle in. For military members, you don't have to have a license that is in the same state you are registering the vehicle.

  Proof of valid insurance

You are going to need to bring a valid insurance card with you when purchasing your new vehicle.
