The 2023 Mazda CX-9 is built on a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, offering 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 offers a traditional engine and a hybrid plug-in version.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine can produce up to 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, while the plug-in hybrid powertrain features a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to produce 323 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
